Facial Steaming

Sometimes no matter what skin care you use, your skin still appeared dull. This is due to poor circulation and clog pores....

Home DIY Facial Steaming will cleanse the skin of all surface dirt, stimulates the circulation and unclogs blocked pores. If your skin is dry, do a facial steaming once a week. You can do facial steaming twice a week if you have very greasy skin.

To make your facial steaming more beneficial, add 1 drop rose geranium and 1 drop eucalyptus/lavendula vera into the water. Steam your face for about 2 mins. Some blackheads will come out of the pores and it becomes easy to extract them.

Rose Geranium:
Rose geranium oil has a balancing effect on the nervous system and relieves depression and anxiety, while lifting the spirits and making the world an easier place to live in. It has a balancing effect on the adrenal cortex and is great for relieving stress. On the skin, rose geranium oil helps to balance the secretion of sebum, clears sluggish and oily skins, while the antiseptic and cicatrisant properties make this oil an effective aid to help with burns, wounds, ulcers and other skin problems.

However using too high of a temperature for either of the following methods can do more harm than good. Excessive steam can burn your skin so be careful and only do what is comfortable for you. If you have sensitive skin or any skin conditions, it is best to discuss with your doctor prior to facial steaming.

Procedure:
Step 1: Fill a bowl with approximately 3 cups of boiling water.
Step 2: Always cleanse your face prior to steaming. This rids your face of surface dirt and prevents it from getting absorbed by your skin. Pat skin dry, do not rub or tug at your face. The key here is to be gentle.
Step 3: Keep your face at least one foot away from the steam. Add the oil. Use a towel over your head to form a tent around your head and the bowl of water. The steam should feel warm and soothing. Remain under the towel for 2 mins. If the steam is too hot or you are uncomfortable at any time, STOP IMMEDIATLEY!
Step 4: Rinse with cool water to close and tighten your pores. Followed with Lavendula vera charcoal flora water, and hydrating face and eye mask..... No need to rinse off....
